Bought the im6 rod last year and it quickly became my favorite for bass fishing.

But isn’t it still putting stress on the transom? Or would a transom saver bar be better or that’s just as good?

I learned this years ago when using ethanol in my two stroke. I stopped using it and started using 100% non ethanol and my problems stopped happening. I'm unsure what it does in the four stroke world.

Does the prop shaft not have to be torqued? And if so is there a common torque value? Also when I am disassembling something and I want to get it re-assembled the exact same way, I will put indicating marks with a magic marker or a paint marker so everything lines up the way I took it apart.
